Glen Huron

Nestled right at the bottom of the Niagara Escarpment, 9 kilometres from Creemore, a drive through Glen Huron is like driving through the Hamilton Brothers store. On one side of the road is farm supplies, on the other is building supplies.

At the three-corner intersection, there’s a working water wheel and short walk behind the old mill brings you to a beautiful pond and a roaring man-made waterfall, a legacy of the old mill. In the fall, Giffen’s Country Market has a cornucopia of apple varieties for sale straight from their big harvest crates.
