Each spring Creemore has lots of visitors passing through. They come from all over the United States as well as Central and South America. Who are these visitors? Birds like the Rose-breasted Grosbeak, the Peregrine Falcon, the Bobolink and many more. On Saturday, May 13 we invite you to visit too as we celebrate the migration of our feathered friends and the beautiful countryside they use as a stopover on their cross-continental journey. We are planning special street decor, a bird house decorating contest, free family activities and a free local birding map with Creemore-specific info, as well as a social media campaign to foster this recognition.
We hope you will join us as we celebrate our feathered friends Saturday, May 13 – International Migratory Bird Day.
Pop into the village and pick up a local map with hike suggestions, learn about birds that visit our area, enjoy local features and specials and participate in free activities.
Watch for an updated schedule – information will be posted as it comes available.
